extending a brand design system for scalability

the project

As a sub-brand of District innovation campus, District Athletic Club (DAC) needed a distinct visual identity that would align with the parent brand while maintaining its own unique style. As the lead designer and creative on the project, my goal was to develop a cohesive brand system that would support the diverse range of classes and offerings at DAC.

To achieve this, I created a sleek and minimalist logomark that extended the District brand, along with a complementary DAC mark that could be applied to various use cases. Careful consideration was given to imagery, color, and typography, resulting in a visual aesthetic that would reflect the brand's high-end and aspirational look. These efforts all contributed to a cohesive and compelling visual language that resonates with fitness enthusiasts and helped to establish DAC as a premier destination for health and wellness.
